Holidays Bloody Hell.
A blogger I follow has recently been to Wales on holiday. Me too, I hope his went better than mine. I went to a little village in Wales which I could never hope to pronounce but spelt Pontrhydfendigaid. The Lodge was amazing, three en suite bedrooms and a kitchen better than mine at home. The countryside was amazing, the people so friendly and the seas side idyllic. What could possibly spoil that? well a motor accident which left us without a car for half the holiday did not help. The amazing thing was that myself and three passengers all walked away with nothing more than cuts and bruises. The up side of the holiday was that all my family were suddenly forced to face a new and quite scary reality. One minute we were enjoying a wonderful peaceful sunny day and a few seconds later climbing out of a wrecked car. We could easily have died in that accident. It makes you much more grateful for the life you have and far more aware of the fact that you should enjoy each day for what it can give. After the peace and tranquility of Wales we returned to Manchester just in time for the riots. Never a dull moment is there.

Flipping heck! Good news that you weren't hurt.
ReplyDeleteThe whole riots thing was just so stupid. People do seem to have a tendency to really suck.
Life can sometimes be OK I suppose.
Jesus Jim, glad to hear you were all okay, extremly lucky it didn't all go a lot worse i guess!
ReplyDeleteif i was the blogger you were talking about, i certainly did go on holiday to Wales, but almost had a car crash on the motorway on the way there because a tyre on the trailer attatched to the back of the car exploded. Was pretty scary, but luckily no one was hurt and we just swiftly pulled onto the hard shoulder.
Glad to hear you were okay, i missed the riots here in Manchester, luckily haha.
